John Carter is alive & well on Mars, and in my heart & mind!

These were wonderful as a teenager, but difficult to read as an adult---though, maybe that's because I already read them and I'm impatient. Still, this series is a lot of fun, and requires a suspension of normal belief---something needed at times for all of us.
